Overview

In July 2015, PSC Iowa signed a formal partnership agreement with the Italian professional soccer club Genoa CFC. The objective of the partnership between PSC and Genoa CFC is to integrate PSC with Genoa's Youth Academy (Settore Giovanile) and Soccer School (Scuola Calcio). This will be accomplished by implementing Genoa's player development philosophies and methods throughout PSC and providing opportunities for PSC players and coaches to work directly with Genoa's Academy coaches in both the United States and Italy. Additionally, the agreement includes a player identification program which will provide PSC players a chance to move on and earn a spot to play with Genoa's Academy in Italy.
